So after having almost everything else that LR have to offer, added to the fact that my trusty D2 died thanks to Inner Wing rust, I picked up this today. Been hankering after a FF RR for a while now, and the RRS I had a few years ago was nice, but didn't feel like the "real thing"

So to answer the calling, I went for a 3.6 TDV8 Vogue with 100k on the clock - both turbos have been replaced in last year or so and have to say it's a joy to drive.

Looks cracking. I could say the same about the bodywork on my 2011 car, so I wouldn’t worry too much.

Seems they used more recycled metal in the steel as they went from BMW to Ford and then Tata ownership.

Mine was 4.5 years old when I bought it, and tailgate had already been repaired......

Looks lovely, I had a Discovery 2 for over ten years before getting my Range Rover, as much as I miss my Disco the L322 is on another level of excellence

Have the EGRs been blanked? It's a worthwhile mod to do:
Blank with plates (eBAY).
Get them also digitally mapped out to ensure EML stays off on dashboard (Bell Auto Services / Alive Tuning)
Remap it for a little more poke (same suppliers)
It will breathe cleaner and have less "lag"
Just wish I could do the same on my 4.4

Cheers, I’ve got an IIDTool from my D3/RRS days so I’ll look at the EGR removal (physical and electronic too) Not sure I’ll need the remap though - coming from a D2, this thing is positively rapid!

My D2 was stage 2 tuned with intercooler and turbo etc and went really well.. but not a patch on my 3.6tdv8

So, spent the day driving her today and have to say I’m in love. Managed to get around 30mpg with mixed driving and there’s a truckload of power on tap when needed.

Will try to work out the best way of getting Bluetooth streaming to work (time to use the search function!) plus the DTV reception is woeful so will need to look at that.
