FF is out of warranty so think it’s now time to start maintaining it myself, fairly handy with spanner’s so no worries.

Hi Rob. Yes it is off my 2011 car. The right hand one suddenly started to seize and the piston was in a right rusted state, so I replaced both calipers. I took the piston out the left one and it is virtually unmarked. The piston pushes in easily just with finger pressure and when I applied a bit of air pressure to it the piston withdraws a little when the air is let off as it's meant to. PM me mate if you want it. |

you can get a pair of new rear calipers for about £70 delivered though most aftermarket ones seem to be steel rather than aluminum. work fine though.

I had mine replaced £128 for original TRW ones, heck the labour cost to put a fixing kit or just clean the old ones would have been more. I totally agree, considering the low cost of these it’s not worth it to mess about with them in my opinion.
