Electric rear seats

Hi all. 2017 (67) AB. Rear electric seat behind the driver won’t move from neither the seat controls or the folding buttons in the boot. The other side functions fine. Am I right to assume they’re on the same fuse? Either way, any experiences of a rear electric seat not working and what it was. Might help me narrow the likely fault down. Cheers

Did you ever get anywhere with your repairs? I have the exact same issue. Although when the you push the boot button the drivers seat will move briefly then stop.

Nope but it’s going into JAS near York in April. I’ll let you know. My drivers seat moves too.

Mine just out of the blue went from being all good to working perfectly fine going down, but would not come back up, RHS rear only..

Pulling one or two fuses controlling the seats, behind the right side panel, seems to reset the system allowing return of seat back to upright position, however, drop it to the most downward position and the cycle repeats..

Got tired of removing the side panel and luckily found a new 'temporary' solution..

...I guess I'm lucky, the Fattie sleeps in my locked garage overnight, I work from home and never lock her when at home, so If ever I find myself in the same seat down position, I leave the upper tailgate open, let the vehicle shut down completely, then go to the respective seat 'up' button, push and hold, and then activate the door open on the key (even though its unlocked..)

Seems like the 'waking up' process with the seat up button fully depressed triggers the unit in returning to the up position, which is fine, and a damn side less frustrating than removing panels..

Did that three times, maybe four, has always worked...

Now she has decided to auto correct herself, and normal seat control has resumed, go figure..wonder how long this will last...

Thanks for that info, tried multiple combinations of it but the seat still won't move. Thankfully it in the upright position. I have it booked into the most local independent specialist on the 25th April so fingers crossed they get it. Thanks again

Hi. Not sure if you got yours sorted. Mind turned out to be a small fuse behind the glove box. All working fine now. Cheers

Thanks, I took it to a local independent but their dignostic software would not connect to my vehicle. I believe a newer version. So living with it fo now until I goes back to lr. I will check the fuses at the front. Do you know the exact one?
