Sounds like a thermostat.... 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

I’m thinking thermostat too...... radiator not blocked?

Sounds thermostatty probably stuck shut.nothing much to the engine cooling system bar a pump, header tank, some hoses and the stat. So long as you haven’t lost coolant, and don’t have a big leak then start with the stat as it’s the cheapest fix option. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

If it’s got so little oil that it’s overheating, you have bigger problems so that’s unlikely! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
