I have to reprogram my keys as they have both lost the remote function. When you say they both have to be done together is that within the same 30 sec time that the bcu is looking for codes or push the buttons on both keys at exactly the same time.
Cheers roger

thanks daveo much appreciated Very Happy

Says in the description 315MHz - American spec, or 433MHz - 315 won't work on a UK car - wrong frequency - I see they do both - but I reckon they've sent you the wrong one.

I realise this is an oldish thread but when I got my FF I had only one key working remote locking and tried this. It worked a treat thanks Thumbs Up

Took me a couple of times but I discovered the easiest way was to hold unlock for the count of 13 then press unlock three times in succession and releasing both. welcomed by the joyful sound of unlock and lock, repeated with second key immediately after and hey presto 2 working keys.

Referring to the easiest way- MachineHead says to hold unlock for 13 sec than press unlock 3 times and release BOTH
I am assuming: hold unlock for 13 sec than press lock 3 times and release both?

Correct me if wrong trying to sync remote to 08my L322 with no luck so far with genuine key

Cheers

I got my two keys refurbed by Timpsons for £30 each but only one key can do the wireless remote.

The problem is the new buttons are so hard to keep pressed that the resent procedure keeps failing.

Brilliant, worked perfectly for my new key after replacing the aerial booster in the upper tailgate. Waiting for the second new key to arrive, then it will be good to have two fully operational keys again.

South Africa 2005 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

This worked for me after six months of trying.
I had to get two keys working after I bought my FFRR S/C.
The first step is to make sure they are programmed/reprogrammed to the key.
Mine worked already, as I had to get in and out with the key, and start it with the same.
To sync the remote takes a lot of perseverance and patience!
My first problem was my battery (the vehicle, not the keys!!).
This was causing a lot of other faults as well.
Once I changed this, I managed to sync the remotes.
But it takes several (lots!) of attempts but it's so satisfying when those locks click up and down!! 2005 FFRR SC Java Black with Overfinch Exhaust (UK)

Hi every one,

just received a new key from Land Rover - synced it and it opens the doors just fine but it won't turn the ignition.

Any help? Bow down

This will be the transponder.
I am not sure if they now need to be programmed to the car using an IITD tool? 2005 FFRR SC Java Black with Overfinch Exhaust (UK)
