Sorry I didn't reply to your questions - glad you got yours installed. I got my module from a place in the UK, but got Cameron's bracket (as I found out about him after ordering the module).

Works great! Swapping in the L405 module definitely does NOT work!

A

Hi All,

I'am newbie in here...

GAP Team, told me to find answer for my problem in here...

I bought a in2digi module, for retrofitting DAB+ on my RR.
The module is installed with MOST splitter through Phone interface and also the power. My car has TV, so it was "prepared" for DAB antenna amplifier, so that is also fitter and installed to the module.

I changed the "Digital radio receiver" to "HD&DAB with PTY EU / ROW" and also "DAB" through IIDTool but DAB button is not showing on HU.

What am I doing wrong?

Did your Fatty have DAB installed and you changed to DAB+?
I had DAB before, therefore after Installing I only had to switch to DAB+ and it was done.
So, sorry, can't help you on this issue.
You may ask Cameron for help?

No I did not have DAB before.
What do you mean by "Switch to DAB+"

If you have DAB before, then you shouldn't do anything else than install the module?

I figured out what's was "wrong".

I read that many people have changed the CCF option "Digital radio reciever" but that was not the correct line. After talking with Cameron (thank you soo much) the right CCF was "Digital Audio Broadcasting Receiver (DAB) Fitment" from "Not fitted" to "Fitted with digital audio broadcasting."

That option was not listen on my IIDTool. You have to get GAP Team to activate the full list.

So now my Fatty has DAB+ and working great. Only need to find the extender cable from antenna connecter from the amplifier to the in2digi module.

I’ve already got dab radio in my 2010 vogue and would like to have the dab+ function

So is it a case of seeing which unit I have and get a later one that’s come out of a Jaguar and plug and play or is it a case of messing around with wiring to make one work

Cheers

So I installed

CPLA-14F720-BM

over the weekend. Only way I can access DAB is by turning unit off and pressing DAB option with unit off. It then turns on and DAB works.

2011 L322

Anyone else had similar?

Got the same problem. Also if traffic info interrupts the broadcast I have to change the volume to get ANY sound, as I do if I'm on DAB, turn the engine off and restart the car; no sound until the volume is changed! Weird.

I guess that rules out the difference in software being the issue.

Has anyone managed to get them to work properly?

I had a new battery fitted since changing the module; would that do it or do I need to short the leads out?

This may be a silly question (nothing new there 😀) but when (if) did JLR make DAB+ standard. I’ve got an early L405 so how would I know ? Geoff
