Motoreasy Warranty

Well after having quotes from warranty direct, warrantywise and Motoreasy. All approx.£1500 i decided to go with Motoreasy. Plan A level of cover, extra six months free, free vehicle health check. My vehicle a 15 plate 47k miles. Loads of horror stories about dealing with claims, so hoping I've made the right choice. Previously used warranty direct and never had any issues with claims.
Duncan Fisher used to be the owner of Warranty Direct and after selling up. Has started Motoreasy, this was the deciding factor in buying from them. Someone you have had past dealings with and always resolved any issues. On the Touareg Forum warranty direct appeared to be the best provider whilst he was at the helm.
Hoping he applies the same fairness that retained my business for years.

Have you had any claims yet?

I'm being offered a Plan B for £1k per year for three years... It's tempting as an insurance against big garage bills but I'm interested to know how they perform - they have been chasing me for my business which suggests either they think they won't have a problem with the car ( Rolling with laughter ) or that they will be able to refuse to pay out...? 2012 L322 TDV8 Vogue SE: Buckingham Blue

Hi Bluebottle

The guy that owns Motoreasy is Duncan Fisher, who originally started Warranty Direct. Whilst he was in charge there i used to run a v10 5ltr Touareg that was at best a little troublesome. I had over 10k worth of claims on that policy over 4 years and never had a pick of bother!! That was my reason for going with Motoreasy. i know Duncan is monitoring the FFRR site to drum up extra business. So it is in everyone's best interest claims are settled fairly and honestly.
Not had to claim anything yet on my policy, so no claim history to speak of.
Everyone hears horror storys about warranty claims being rejected, Duncan is fair!! Realistically you have Motoreasy, Warrantywise or Warranty direct NONE of the others other the level of cover required for these vehicles.

I’ll keep an eye on this, as I have 4 months dealer warranty left on mine, and after that I’ll be looking for some peace of mind.

I have had a quote from MotorEasy of £1614 for 15 months for £50 access? my car has covered 95000 miles went through the MOT last week with no worries>
Is this a good deal or should I just put the money aside for the rainy day that will be coming? Big Cry

Motoreasy warranty

Had my car booked in for a door lock failure.
Sent qoute to there claims dept, was updated on-line.
Authorised and completed within two days.
I had to pay and claim back money in bank within a couple of days.
Really great service and no haggling on dealer rates or parts.
Highly recommend there service.
