Cheers guys...

David, yeah, not too bad at all...

Craig, that makes a lot of sense... I'll have a look...

Thumbs Up Pete

Thumbs Up But it would make a lot more sense if the default setting was set to alarm low oil level.

I can't take any credit for the latest mod, the idea has been stolen from our very own Cam Tech Craig but as he's away in Italy thrashing the new Ferrari I thought I'd do it before he returns...

Can't understand why they didn't do this anyway... has anyone ever said "I have enough cup holders....!!!"

This is not plug and play, the cover and the inner dash need modification...

Track down a 2005-2012 LHD left dash end with the light switch hole...

I found a wood finish one for less than £25 delivered from the States... piano black ones were a silly price...

Drop it off at your local spray shop and £20 later it's looking good...

Take off the old one, then work out and mark up a section that needs to be cut off to miss the glove box, also cut a section out of the dash, nothing essential just some plastic webbing...

Cut off pieces...

Then fit the new cup holder, I got this one on eBay as NOS, it was £100 they retail from the dealer at around £140...

Then refit the trim and buy yourself a drink...

Much better... Thumbs Up

A lot cheaper if you can find a nice condition early cup holder but they do tend to wear out quick... Pete

Are you going to show us how to retrofit a curry hook also?

What I'd really like to do is a 2002 retrofit, change all the exterior lights and panels for the original design which just looked so right IMHO... much better than all these blingy lights and LED's everywhere... It looks like it would be a big job though and although I think they are OTT they are much better at their job than the earlier ones...

I’m with you on that Pete. Much truer to the idea of modernising the RR Classic…. I didn’t particularly like the 2010 facelift when it came out. Too much front bumper….

I agree.

Change the seats also. More comfortable and heat up quicker.

only issue was with front turning indicator and side marker lamp unit - today most of them have broken mounting points.
