yes it was,when i got the dpf cleaned the guy said there was a fuel pressure problem that kept coming up on the computer but would not show any codes |

when the car is running right i swear to god its like a ferrari the power is unreal but this fault is getting on my nerves. |

Have a look at the four short rubber hoses that are connected into the intake plenum (large plastic doughnut shaped box, located under the engine cover) and see if there's any soot/oil/or splits/cracks, etc. They are a common weak spot on the 4.4 TDV8 engine and will set off the Restricted Performance problems, often at random but more usually under hard acceleration.

yes there is a black sootat the back right hand side rubber a bit like a diesel leak could that be it? |

Check the hose to see if there's a split.
