Hi,

I wonder if its any use to disconnect the plug from the outlet at all ?

My car is in the carport, so all connections stay dry.

When the battery is charged, should I unplug it from the car and the outlet,
just from the car, or just leave it until I leave ?

I dont know about the P400e but most other EV / PHEV can pre-condition the battery (heat) and heat / cool the interior prior to departure using mains power so my car, BMW i3 is left plugged in for those reasons. BMW i3 Electric Car

@AJGalaxy2012 Thanks for your reply. Yes, the P400e has the same features.

It says in the app " disconnected " when it says 'fully charged'.

I think I''ll do some research myself and plug a kWh meter in the outlet.

I already knows it charges 10% extra (inverter loss, heatin/cooling battery).

If I reset the counter when the car is fully charged, leave it 24h, then I know

if it "eats" also "crawling current " (don't know exact English wording).

Yesterday I did a long trip, 125km return each way. Quite surprised: left with 34km EV range.
EV mode quit after about 26km. It said "0 " range when reaching my destination.
Leaving there it still said "0". We went from sea level to +20m. We don't have mountains and
there are no long inclines down.

Still, it did some distance as EV on the way home. Strange enough the 'missing' 6km from the
start...

Also I measured the 'creep power' . In 8hrs it added another kWh to the meter, after declaring it
was 'fully charged'.

So if you are not using the car for some days, it pays of to disconnect the charger from the outlet.
