Interesting, I have the same problem (red line through GPS) was just about to buy a new antenna but I'll hold off and see if you fix it. Actually I could just connect my C-Tek, charge the battery and see if that makes any difference, might give it a try next weekend. Geoff

Pogo leaving to stand lets it settle. If you test the voltage immediately after disconnecting charger you can get a false reading John

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

I checked the standing voltage of the battery after it had stood overnight and it was 12.04V. I didn't do a cranking voltage as it was too cold to be messing about outside!
I guess I need to change the battery really before I try to fix anything else.
Has anybody gone down the two battery route - similar to this - https://www.luxurylandroverupgrades.com/pr...attery-kit

Interested in anybody's thoughts on that upgrade.

And - what main battery do people recommend?

Roger

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue

Just an update on my sat nav.

I had previously tried two sat nav DVD units and a few DVDs - none were particularly good and it wasn't working as it should.

So, I bought another DVD unit with another DVD. This worked better and I started to get some progress.
The new unit still started at an odd place (a couple of miles from my daughter as it happens) near to where the dismantlers was. The GPS logo top left had a red line through it, but after I drove a few hundred yards or so (sometimes more), it picked up where I actually was. I could also set destinations and navigate properly.

I also bought another DVD.

So, now my questions really are why would the GPS not be seen when I start the car, but suddenly jump in after driving for a while?

The GPS antenna is a new Land Rover one - replaced in December. I have just ordered a cheap GPS antenna from Amazon to see if I can get that to work better and I might try my old one back on again.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
