Advice on egr delete please, 4.4tdv8

I just got my ecu back from having a dpf and egr delete. Do I need to do anything either the egr or can I just plug the ecu in and go? Any help would be appreciated

Who did it for you? May I ask why you had it done? Were you experiencing dpf issues? I'm intrigued if the dpf is still in the exhaust, will it clog up given its physical construction? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Dpf is gutted out and deleted so no dpf, I just wondered if I have to physically block the egr or unplug it. I had a blocked dpf so thought I would fix it permanently, thought I would do egr at same time

Ah, dunno then. I wouldn’t suppose it mattered if you unplugged them then. Others will be along soon that are more knowledgeable on the subject…. But imagine if you unplug them and it throws an error… plug them back in….

I blanked the egr but intermittently am getting limp mode and fault code p042d-00. To mute knowledge it’s the temperature sensor that goes on the dpf. Surely they should have deleted that sensor when doing the rest? I have emailed them about it just waiting for a reply. Very frustrating as I thought this would permanently fix a problem

The egr doesn’t need blanking I found out you just delete it on the map

I gutted it and welded it back up, I found a guy on the internet who done the map on the ecu. Now I’m averaging 30mpg and great performance too.
