Airbag Light with B1408 Code

Hello all

Please help if you can. My Airbag light is on (sometimes off but more times that not, it's on) with code B1408 'Driver's door window glass up circuit - circuit short to battery'. I clear the code, the light goes out but comes back immediately after the diagnostic machine is out of the menu system. I've trawled the net but can't find anything specific. Regards.

Very common, will be a break in the b pillar wiring or an issue with the connector under the passenger seat. If you search on here you will find info..

Does your diagnostic machine do live readings? If so you can go through each airbag individual and see if any of the ohm’s readings are wildly different for one sensor, if so that’s likely to be your cause. Turned out to the the earth wire on the steering wheel airbag on mine, was a dead easy fix once located. This was also intermittent.
