No power to Infotainment System

I have no power to the Touchscreen, I had done a reset and firstly when restarted the remote was not working to open the doors although the car would start. I left the car for 10 mins and disconnected the battery leaving for 10 more mins and reconnected. The remote then worked. But still no power to head unit. There is no flashing light on the knob.
Is there something that I am missing ?

Many thanks

RE infotainment system no power, I understand that this a neighbours vehicle, do you know if the problem has been resolved.
I have a late 2011 tghat has developed the same issue since a visit to garage for service work and front suspension replacment.

Hi

It had to have the files re flashed as the relevant ECU’s data files were corrupt and unit not recognised. Fine afterwards.
Hope it helps.

Apparently common issue if you do not wait 30 mins after disconnecting battery to do reset. Also have been told to wait similar time after reset.

Hello Sonearly.

Many thanks for your prompt response.

This all makes sense, I think the car will require a visit to the dealer in the new year. All the usual optic fire and component tests have not shown anything, the infotainment system is fully ofline.

Appreciate your correspondance, I will update this once we move forward with getting the car sorted.

Regards Dazfinch.
