Confused

You can’t realistically expect anyone to warrant a vehicle at 100% reimbursement level as it ages.
I think what they offer is pretty fair, it’s a balance between age, risk, and cost.

Would you pay say £250 a month to warrant a 10+ year old vehicle, for example?
Or, just save £250 a month in case something happens? Or, just use the £250 a month towards a newer vehicle?
It’s all relative to each individuals expectations, at the end of the day, you can’t expect something for nothing. Whistle “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

we concur

but you obviously missed my point about "this looks really good for cars up to 6 years old"

and please there is no need to be so defensive, I am not moaning about MotorEasy terms and conditions, I think they are pretty fair as well

@pcourtney,

No intention of being defensive, just being realistic really.
Having been in that position before, I appreciate it gets difficult when one has an older, cherished vehicle which you have looked after diligently and still looks/performs perfectly, but the chance of getting a decent warranty which is also good value, diminishes with each passing year, in which case one of the above might be an alternative scenario. Unfortunately commercial organisations go on age and mileage when cosidering risk, and not necessarily the care and condition of each individual vehicle, to the detriment of fastidious owners.

Good luck in finding your own solutuion Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
