Did you replace the batteries with Duracell?. It has been quite well documented that only Duracell work perfectly.

Weirdly and by chance yes, the remote battery was replaced with a Duracell 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini Black with black interior and glass

Hi Ian, I bought a two pack of Duracell batteries for mine, and the first battery was only half charged and didn't work, the second one worked fine. Might be worth trying another battery. |

Make sure you wipe both sides of the battery with a cloth or similar, fingerprints are a bit greasy and hinder the flow of current.

Worth mentioning, there are a lot of fake batteries out there, especially on the large internet stores.
