Fuel filler door sticks out

I took delivery of an L406 just before Christmas and noticed the body coloured door covering the fuel filler cap sticks out and is not flush with the body. I raised this with the supplying dealer and they told me that LR knew all about it but there was no current "fix". Has anybody else got this issue and is there a fix?

I picked my Rover up yesterday and I mentioned this before getting there for them to check. They said JLR is setting up a bulletin for this. They've had several issues of this. The fuel door is coming from the factory warped. GM said they are planning to replace the entire door.

When this will be, who knows.

As it’s not critical , my guess is at service unless someone is stomping mad

Mmmmmm edit ; service every two years….. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...
