L460 P530 Autobiography front seats not automatic

Hi guys
I have just taken delivery of the L460 AB P530 and have noticed the front seats DONOT automatically move forward when the 2nd row seats are folded down.
In my L405 the front seat automatically moved forward.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did to manage to resolve the issue?.

Are the seats far enough forward already that they dont need to move. letters not necessarily in the right order

No both rear seats made contact with back of front seats prior to returning to normal.
I tend to think it’s a software issue as I cannot find any locations to activate/deactivate the front seat movement, this would also be an issue if you had screens on the back of the front seats.

I could be wrong here so apologies if this is a red herring. I was playing through the various menus the other day and I think I saw an option to have the seats set to automatically move forward or not. So it could very well be a setting that can be activated and deactivated. There are bound to be scenarios where you might not want the seats to automatically move forward for various reasons so it would make sense to be given the option.

You are correct, although I did not find the setting the dealer did, he has set to auto move, as I have the drivers seat set back and on a collision coarse with the head rest.
Out of curiosity I will try to find the operation on the screen.

Back to the same problem of front seats not automatically moving forward when 2nd row folded. Has anyone managed to find the control that I assume sets it to auto? Dealer sorted last time.
Thanks

Having to accompany wife to town today, when I get boared I will go back to the car and hunt through the screens.
What we need is a simple flow diagram with the headings of each step. letters not necessarily in the right order

Oh Craig you luddite.
Shame the person who thought this was so clever could not put in to the algorithm to put the drivers seat back exactly where it was. letters not necessarily in the right order

Luddite hmmmmm nah! Just a grumpy old git at times Dixy…

My point would be, when would anyone NOT want the front seats to move away from the reclining rear seats?
