2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Ipanema Sand

Which penetrating oil/spray?

About to change the brake callipers on my Autotest car and looking at the best penetrating sprays to help release brake pipe bolts.
There are various on the market at varying prices! Deep Creep, PB Blaster, Kroil, Liquid Wrench and Gibbs to mention just a few.

Looking for one that will penetrate the bolt and help them to release easier. What do you recommend? 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

200 TDi discovery bobtail gone
RR classic v8 bobtail gone

I can't speak for the others however I've had excellent results with PB Blaster.

If the bolts are tight sometimes a few good careful whacks with a hammer helps unfreeze them, as can initially tightening a bit before loosening. 2006 L322 Vogue SE 4.2

I've been using 'Plus Gas' recently with very good results. A lot better than WD40.

Plus Gas every time, buy in bulk, gallon at a time and fill a spray bottle, it works really well. BMW i3 Electric Car

Dot4 brake fluid is the best penetrating fluid I’ve ever used …. Seriously, particularly on rusted bolts. Dab some on with a cotton bud and come back later.

Plus, it’s cheeeeeep … like the budgie. V8 or else ...

Just remember to turn the front wheels full lock to improve bolt access, or you might struggle like I did at first!

Lol, had windy gun in hand but “not enough room” D-oh! So struggled with hand tools like a Numpty

Another for Plus Gas, or Dot4, ATF with acetone 50/50 mix.

Last Full Fat was originally from Dundee and this one is from Leeds, so salty roads a lot of the time means I've relied on penetrating oil, brute force and Ingersoll Rand! Formerly happymadison1978

Recently switched to Plus Gas to do a set of glow plugs on a TD5 and was blown away! Superb stuff. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I have been using Innotec Debloc oil XS for many years with very good results. A little expensive though.

We're given Wurth Ultra 2040 at work, which is better than most, I still prefer to buy my own 'Duck Oil' which works well on really stubborn stuff, like TD5 injectors. Plus it's non-aerosol so can be applied without waste and no cloud to breathe in...
