Retrofit Adaptive Cruise Control

Does anyone know where i can possibly get Adaptive Cruise Control fitted to a 2016 Vogue, or indeed if possble.

I am aware over on Disco4 forum some members have managed to do it , but not sire if or where i can commercially get it done.

Many Thanks

Simon

Not sure about the L405 but I 'upgraded' my L322 via the IID tool some years back - it had cruise already and also front radar (which are the 2 things it needs for addaptive)

Turned out to be a simple software / config change.

Perhaps msg the chaps as Gap (Site Sponsors) to see whats possible. Ash

I tried to do it on my 2013 Vogue a year or so ago without success. The work seems to fall into 2 categories:

Hardware: I bought a radar distance sensing unit from eBay (it was a Delphi JS301111640078 for £150) and removed the bumper to fit it. It needed a bracket (p/n LR033405 or LR060076 for £16.50). All the wiring was in place and easy to fit. I also bought the steering wheel switch (p/n LR087486 or LR037452 (LR071935?) for £30 from this forum), removed the steering wheel and again all easy to fit.

Software: At the time, I didn't have an IID so used a local indie for the CCF programming (£70). He used the JLR SDD to reprogramme the CCF and made the following changes:
1. Speed control - Current: Adaptive cruise control is fitted
2. Adaptive speed control ECU - Current: Europe
3. Adaptive speed control ECU – Current: standard blockage level -40dB
4. Collision mitigation by braking – Current: Fitted
5. Standard speed control display type – Current: Adaptive speed control full display plus priority messages
6. Speed control - Current: Adaptive cruise control with queue assist
7. Adaptive cruise control indication in instrument cluster - Current: Enabled
8. Speed control – Current: Adaptive speed control, stop and go
9. Collision mitigation by braking – Current: Collision mitigation by braking GEN3
10. Forward collision warning – Current: Forward collision warning GEN3
11. Front crash sensing system – Current: Front crash sensing system – upfront sensor

We then did a sensor alignment and all seemed to work. The sensor went through its alignment process and after a few miles the sensor flashing stopped. However, we couldn't stop a Handbrake Module error which constantly showed up in the dash as an orange warning light, so put the CCF back to where it was.

The information I found on the process can be found at:
www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic47538.html?hi...se+control
www.rangerovers.net/threads/adaptive-cruis...-to.340817

Current status: all the parts are fitted and the Indie suggested that everything seemed to work, but there was some conflict with the handbrake module which would probably be solved by finding the correct CCF settings - which could take a lot of his time and therefore cost (the SDD is not the quickest of systems).

I've now got an IID so could try again (though I believe I need to get in touch with Gap to have the full CCF programming option), but not got around to it since, but would love to get it working. Current:

The company i found was LR Retrofits, they quoted £1000 fully fitted, but unfortunately don't operate nationwide, they only operate in Essex/London/Hertfordshire/Kent.
