Interesting thread, I too am debating which model to buy and see benefits of both. Maybe the L405 isn't necessarily the clear winner.

This is an interesting thread & I have to say I'm in this same dilemma. I currently have a 2010 L322 and a 2016 Ford Explorer (which despite a twin turbo V6, does nothing for me). I'm considering swapping that for either a 322 or a 405.....but the 405 is probably double....BUT - all importantly, doesn't rust out like the poorly treated 322.......plus a 400kg....yes kg weight penalty.
I love the look of both, but I do love how the L322 captured the essence of look of the Classic.
