Had rails fitted by the dealer and never taken them off, I actually like the look. Cross bars are fitted when needed. Given the ditch fillers are plastic, they are bound to break with regular removal/fitting, so I’d leave the rails in situ. |

I'm not sure if they are noisy ... although I would guess the bars are noisy ? Well I have no choice so will fit the rails and bars and let everyone know how it works out ! |

Came here to write the same. I drilled mine as per the Powerful UK kit. FWIW by the way, I wouldn't recommend the Powerful UK kit, it is poorly fitting, the plastic trims are very brittle and the supplied fixings are as soft as cheese. IMHO. The only noise I got is because the right-hand rail doesn't fit flush enough with the roof. I've had to in-fill it slightly with some tap to stop it whistling. Once done, there is no additional noise from the rails themselves. If I had my time again I'd stretch for OEM rails. FFRR SDV8 Autobiography |

No noise from the rails, even at motorway speeds. Put the cross bars on and there is a noticeable change in noise, but not excessively so. |
