Does it just pull off.

I've searched and looked in the Wiki but I can't find the answer. I wanted to look and see If I had a secondary battery or a capacitor but unfortunately failed at the first hurdle. I know where it lives but I can't seem to remove the trim panel (offside in boot) does it just pull off. I used a bit of force but it didn't budge, unfortunately I have a habit of breaking things so as I'm sure someone has already done it (removed the panel that is without breaking anything) I just thought I'd better check for any tips or if there's a knack before just resorting to more brute force. Confused Geoff

It does just pull off but it is quite solid so needs a good pull. It is held in with the usual plastic trim clips so worse case scenario is a couple break and need replacing. I found I managed to get the top part unclipped and then could lever down and pop off the lower part.

I start in the middle at the top and get my fingers in and pull down and out that's where other fuses are located. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

It's slotted in at the bottom, so you have to pull the top out like this -
