United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

Yep I'm binning it. It's a bit annoying as it's so convenient what with European travel as well but I'll just get breakdown cover and be done with it. I looked at MotorEasy and their top tier cover is still around 1600 a year and then with breakdown cover on top at around 400 (UK and European) I might as well just get the LR warranty. However, I do my own oil changes and I have a local 4x4 indy so pfft.

Ironically, the car is at LR just now having some warranty bits looked at before it ends mid-May. Rear diff, boot struts and ad blue tank. The latter two are straightforward enough but the diff, as you can imagine, is proving more difficult to convince that there's an issue. There's a whine at 65mph+ which, to my ears, is obvious. Not surprisingly the dealer can't hear it but then you won't if you drive it round the block at no more than 30mph. There's a tedious inevitability about these kind of conversations. 2017 Vogue SE

United Kingdom

Just had the JLR extended quote with breakdown at £1584. .Without breakdown at £1404

Seems fair ; breakdown is 180.00

I can get EU wide green flag for half that…. But penny pinching

The only other one I found which looked ok was. Ala platinum at £1616. Plus 123 breakdown .

Very hard to believe come August , I have had the car three years!!!!

Am I missing anything ? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

I didn’t bin it in the end, £2200 for the year. Ouch! Had some work done last month so the previous year worked out in the end. 2017 Vogue SE
