Hi All,

I have a 2019 L405 with factory fitted deployable tow bar and fixed side steps. Recently I have fitted an aftermarket deployable side step and it works as a plug & play system with no coding needed. However I found my deployable tow bar no longer working. I've tried unplugging the aftermarket step module and immediately the tow bar comes back to life. As my understanding from multiple searches the 2019 model utilises 1 module to operate the side steps and tow bar from factory, however being this is an aftermarket side steps I will require a different wiring harness to make both the features work. A quick chatgpt search also mentioned running an aftermarket module for the side steps will result canbus signal conflict.

I'm wondering if there's anyone here who have resolved this issue? Any wiring work or harness replacement you can recommend?
