Anyone else with a 2017 car still waiting to hear from JLR about getting the N877 Security Update done?

We got the letter in August LAST year, then the free smart batteries 6 months later.

Since then, nothing………..  V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

Sold mine in August gremlin but was also still waiting.

With the cyber attack i think this probably added a fair few months on to wait! (My 2019 also needs this!)

Same here, letter in August 24 promising update by end 24, nothing since, over promising and underdelivering. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Jambo had a 2017 SDV8 prior to his current vehicle, IIRC  V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

I have sold my L405 now, but had the update done at a routine service last year. The dealer didn’t specifically offer it, but when I asked, he checked with back room staff and it was done. Notwithstanding the problems JLR face at the moment, it might be worth taking the proactive approach and asking for it.

From memory it was only about 30 minutes, so a chance to pinch as many biscuits and coffees from the main dealer, whilst avoiding the inevitable “your pads are 5% worn, do you want us to change them” conversations! L460 460e PHEV AB. Belgravia green.
