Now it looks this good I think I'll keep it blue....

Just had to fork out a few quid on some ceramic detailer, a wash and dry mit and some edgeless microfibers....

Guess it won't be going to the local Polish hand car wash, I'll have to do it myself now  Pete

Both look great value. I’ve had a price of £700 To do mine. It does look so much better without scratches etc.

Shame your chap is too far away Pete, think it’s a only a bit more than 45mins to Doncaster from Derby, but only just.🤣 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Bored this week, waiting for bathroom delivery, apparently it's delayed because of Covid

When the detailer was here he noticed the grille was damaged and the silver had gone like the "Range Rover" letters go....

Well as it happens I bought a new L460 look grille, ages ago, from AliExpress, it was about £30 delivered so I took a gamble, to say it was cheaply made is an understatement the finish is OKish but you can see it won't last long in the salt spray in winter, decided to swap it over as it's a bit smarter than the old one, if it lasts till winter I'm happy...

Then I found out why it was cheap, the hole for the Land Rover badge is too small for a standard grille badge, had to stick it to the very edge of the recess, not in it... Oh well looks good at 10feet as they say...

I have been debating this style grille for mine but in black (mine is a black pack car). It looks good and suits the shape better than the bluff/flat honeycomb one.

Might give it a go

Yeah, go for it, there are four clips on the bonnet slam panel then the grills pulls straight off, the lower clips are moulded into the grille and are welded or glued and they tend to get pulled off the "cheap" grille, it can be quite a pain to get it off....  Pete

Did you order from AliExpress or get the Powerful Uk one?

This current one is from Aliexpress, was about £30...!! it's predecessor was from Hawk or PowerfulUK, can't remember which but the old one, which was non genuine was much better made than this cheap looking thing...!! The old one lasted a couple of years before showing signs of age which I think is about right...

I've just ordered one of these as the one fitted now is so cheap and naff I can't stand it...lol...
