Their are sound settings, I remember Lee who fitted mine saying what he had found best,
He’s on here as Lee 1974.
You could try asking him by sending him a PM.

Did this in my new (to me) car, total cost was £215 plus £54 in import taxes, for the 4GB ram/8 core model. Took me around 8 hours to take everything apart and reassemble, which having never touched a RR I think is good! Very fast and easy to use, have had no issues yet!

On my unit you can swipe from the top and you'll get the Android back, home and switcher buttons.

Did you have any instilation instructions with yours?

Yeah, I got given a PDF entirely in Chinese for a pre-facelift!

https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic67642.html - I followed this until step 9.

Most of the cables are obvious as to where they go inside the new unit, but I had to ask the seller for info on a few and they were really quick to help.

Sam Uel does a very good YouTube on how to replace the head unit. He was adding stuff to the existing head unit for CarPlay but obviously shows all the steps to get there.
I wouldn’t think it will be too complicated as there are not many leads going in to the existing unit. I think you have to get at the cd player and disable it with a loop.
I’m thinking of doing it as the price has really come down on these units

Definitely worth it IMO, paid £215 for mine plus £54 in import fees.

Only issue I have found so far is that when parked in direct sun overnight, first getting in the car the unit has overheated and won't turn on, but with AC on comes back pretty quick.

Would Google translate help with that?

Yeah I did translate through Google, although ended up being easier following the thread on here which details taking the dash apart.
