Fuses, Relays, Etc.

Just being overly cautious but have been wondering whether I am missing any obvious fuses or relays from the under bonnet fuse box. Any observations would be most welcome.

Difficult to say as I still can't get the car started.

It turns on and the windows, etc. work but other things such as mirror adjustment, etc. don't.

No idea what is supposed to only work when the engine was running, hence the question.

Thought I'd plan ahead and see if I can catch anything ahead of times as the previous owner has been messing with all sorts of things so I have no idea if everything is even in the right place.

They failed to get the under bonnet fuse box lid oriented correctly so they clearly weren't very careful/mechanically minded.

Have you looked in your workshop manual? also the owners manual should also have a list of fuses for each Fuse box.

For example this is mine from a MY18 WSM rear FB

Dont be put off by missing fuses every car is different so the first step is to find the drawings for your car and cross reference.

The list from owners manual for my MY18

Again from WSM you can confirm fuse etc from electrical drawing again example from my MY18

Once you are happy with fuses, fuse links and relays etc Start with a good charged battery, check earth points under both front wheel arches, actually remove them and clean them up. What error codes do you have after you have done these checks ? 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
