Gap tool

Morning all, just purchased a new (to me) 2017 Vogue SE on a 67 plate.
My question is will a G3 Gap tool work ? Or do I need to buy a G4 ?

Many thanks.

Steve

Also, consider whether you need all the functionality the Gap tool offers. If you are only doing fairly routine stuff, the one I mentioned on this topic or something similar would do the job. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

I’ve sent a PM if you do sell your G3,

This was the reply from Pat when I asked -

Hello Andy

The G3 will work on a 2016.

However, 2017+ we suggest a G4.

G4 will require an adapter on some cars, including L405 2016.

Cheers

I think you need the G4 for a 2018+ the G3 will have limited functionality.
You can get £300 for your G3 and put that towards a G4?

On the MY17, I’ve yet to find something my G3 can’t do, although I have had to get some help from Pat once or twice, thankfully the support is amazing, that’s what sets it apart from the other tools. V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!
