Although mine are 22" I had a similar dilemma it was easily solved. Arrived at the tyre place and he could do me 4 Verde's with PCNS while I waited - problem solved I got 4 fitted and forked out £1000 or so. Interestingly the tyre place said the take offs had plenty of tread and would pass an MOT so I gave then stan's number Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Geoff

Well spotted... Found this when specifing both all season tyres...

Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season and Scorpion Verde All Season are both all-season SUV tires, but the Zero is designed for sporty performance while the Verde is geared towards comfort, fuel efficiency, and longer tread life. The Zero offers better handling and grip, especially in sporty driving conditions, while the Verde focuses on a quieter, more comfortable ride and lower rolling resistance for better fuel economy.

Shocked Wow! That is spookily close to my own slightly less bullsh*tty version above: “Generally, the Verde is best for quietness and comfort, but the Zero is best for outright grip & performance, so your driving style has much to do with it.”

TBH, it’s all smoke, mirrors, and heaps of marketing hype we can all get sucked into, and the many consumer tyre reviews are either polarised or inconsistent, so just get what floats your boat from the list, either cheapest or “reassuringly expensive” Very Happy Thumbs Up V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

Peter, remember that Mikes car (MPX) is a petrol so maybe needed a different speed rating or compound or ??? hence them being different to your list... Thumbs Up

Oh and my two peneth for what its worth? Mine and Wifeys are both on Pirelli Zero silents and I wouldn't change them to any other brand... Thumbs Up

Incidentally Pete, I've just binned a set of 275/40/23 that I ran for winter wheels (painted rather than diamond cut) with around 4mm of tread dated 2018 as they started cracking badly! Yikes. More money to spend this winter Whistle Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up
