Bit of an odd one, my 5.0 SC has started to randomly run the air-con fan (fam directly behind the front grille) even though the car is locked and hasn’t been unlocked or started for several days.

If left, it does eventually stop, although will start and then stop again several times - suggesting a sensor of some sort is being triggered?

If I unlock and open the drivers door, it stops (opening any other door and it keeps running). After re-locking, it can go for hours or even days without starting up again but then all of sudden, it starts running.

Any ideas anyone?? Jonathan

Just bumping this as it’s done it again this morning, although I’ve confirmed that it is the air-con fan at the very front, behind the grille.

Guessing it’s a sensor that’s triggering it but any clues as to where to investigate would be useful  Jonathan
