448DT LH Head Timing Cover Gasket

Hi, I'm looking for the gasket used on the left-hand (LH) engine head — not the head gasket itself.

There is a cover on the front of the engine that is bolted to the engine head, and the high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) is mounted to this cover.

I’ve checked online diagrams for part numbers but couldn’t find the gasket.

The cover is part of the engine head assembly, part number LR023010.

Is it even possible to buy this gasket separately? It looks like someone previously attempted to fix it using RTV sealant.

Been there, had that problem. Not available unless you buy a new cylinder head, which comes with the HPFP bracket and obviously the gasket.

Yeah, it’s honestly crazy. RTV seems like the only option. Big Cry

I had the same issue with the EGR – took it apart to clean it properly. Luckily, I did fully disassemble it, because I found the flap weld broken and bent flap. Had to weld it back onto the shaft. And the gasket situation… being able to buy only 2 out of the 3 is just ridiculous..... Censored L405 4.4 Vogue

I noticed that about the EGR too when I stripped mine a few years ago, the logic seems to go out of the window with JLR. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.
