Niiiice! Thanks David! With your description I was able to figure it out! Too bad GAP doesn’t have an option to lock axis cause it’s still kinda fiddly.

Anyway for anyone wondering the same thing:

- once you tap either of the axis on the left or tap the bottom left description (engine speed, turbine speed) — tapping these cycles graph selection
- the graph will then be bold, to up/down on the vertical axis just slide up and down
- to change axis scale (rpm scaling in this case) pinch and zoom VERTICALLY
- if you want to change the time scale pinch and zoom horizontally

So, with that said, looking at my transmission graph for 39 seconds, I believe my solenoids are fine, what say you? @dhallworth and @rrphil

Transmission engine speed kinda steps but I see that in David’s graph too, so maybe it just doesn’t report as often?

Just another example. While starting around 20km/hr

…if I don’t need to replace the solenoids at least this great thread has allowed me to see that I can no doubt do the transmission fluid flush & fill Smile

Hey David, I just wanted to extend my thanks to posting and documenting your issue as Ive been encountering the same juddering/jerking under light acceleration during highway speeds which has been intermittent over the course of 2-3 years. Lately its been occurring more frequently. Its extremely random too, I can restart the engine and it goes away. 2011 Range Rover Sport 5.0 SC.
Ive replaced the injectors on the car (during the timing chain replacement), and installed brand new MAFs. Ive smoked tested the engine in various places and addressed all intake track leaks.

After reading this thread Ive ordered a new set of solenoids, dampers, sandwich plate, seal kit and Metal Pan (I have an L320, so installing OE pan is pain!)
Like you I do not want to replace the TC as everyone seems to blame that once juddering/shuddering occurs.
Im cautiously optimistic the new solenoids and dampers will cure this problem.!
Thanks to RRPhil for his expert within this thread as well.
