P004B and P004C 2012 4.4tdv8

I have had the above codes for a bit now and have been trying to fix the problem. I then lost power and went into get you home mode, my Hawkeye is telling me it’s the boost control solenoid on turbo B. The thing is on the last drive when it went into limp mode I got home to find I have oil in the left side air filter ( uk car)

I have today taken the compressor shut off valve off the car and have oil in it and pipe work to it on both sides

Is this a sine the turbo B is now done or what could make this happen.

Any help would be fantastic. Also can I check the solenoid valve by putting 12v across the two terminals.

So after a few hours of looking and checking looks like I have found the problem

3 vacuum lines not connected and I’ve also add some gas PTFE tape to help help seal around plastic part that goes onto throttle body as it was loose and £230 for a new seal is just mad, codes are gone and no RP at 2500rpm.

Could you help my do the same. How did you gain access to the cross over valve? Where abouts are those vacuum lines, the oily ones and the single one that had popped off?

The vacuum lines are on the right hand side if your looking from the front with bonnet up. If you look at the fan cover on that side and look down about 150mm, take the air filter box out and the first part of the hose and you can just get your hand to them. As for the value I took off the front tray under the bumper and it’s just off centre on nearside (uk car)
