Pivi Pro Software Update v4.3.1 fails to update every time

Prior to this update I’ve had around 6 previous updates which have installed perfectly every time without a single issue.

For some reason with this update the car just refuses to install it. The message says “The update has been downloaded and is ready to install” every time I turn off the car. If I click “Update now” it says the usual message about closing all windows, locking and alarming the car and leaving it to install for at least 35 minutes.

Every time I do this before I go bed, the next day when I start the car it just keeps saying there is the same update ready to install again. It’s gotten to the point now where even though I’ve done a 2 hour round trip down the motorway the night before, a “Battery low, please start engine” warning comes up in the morning.

Is there anything I can do to force this update to install? The message every time I turn off the car and the battery low warnings every morning are starting irritate me.

Car is MY24 FF Autobiography.

Thanks.

Do they actually deal with things like this? Thought they’d just fob me off to a dealer

They will deal with these issues I’m sure but maybe good to say you’re dealer can’t look at it for weeks. Make sure you also get a LR tech out rather than a normal RAC employee who know nothing about these cars. Current fleet:
2020 McLaren 600LT Spider
2020 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet (sold)
2023 L460 PHEV 440 SE
2021 Toyota GR Yaris
1992 Lotus Esprit turbo
2019 Alpine A110 (French rubbish now gone)

I have had my pivi updates fail to install when my RRS p460e is parked in my garage due to weak wifi/mobile signal strength in that location. It seemed to be able to receive the update ok in that location but not install it. My solution was to park closer to the house where the signal is stronger and I then have no problem, all updates install first time every time. Might be worth checking that something is not going on with your wifi/mobile signal and trying the update where you have strongest signal.

Slightly confused with this. Car is parked on the driveway in the exact same place it was for all the previous updates. It has never been connected to the house WiFi or used my phone signal to install the previous updates and they installed perfectly so not sure why this would be a factor now?

Have you tried doing a reset on the Pivi Screen. Reset all settings?
