Stan,

I though on the 2013 L405 onward you still had to configure the lights for L/H or R/H driving under the High Beam Assist in the Set Up Menu. does this not change the light direction? Question 2013 405 TDV6 Vogue SE Barolo Black

Hi
I have a 2011 vehicle had same issue - worked it out with the aid of the beam setter at work.
Setting for driving abroad ,
O/S click lever up.
N/S click lever down
Hope this helps

When you speak of NS and OS is this when you are abroad or in uk?

There is a difference depending on the model year. Up to 2009 it was down for Continent and up for UK (not sure about 2010).
It was then changed to down for UK and up for Continent.

If your adjusters are as in this photo then it us for Continent and down for UK :

Do you find that these levers act like a rocker returning to the centre after operating the shutter, or am I not doing it right?

both levers should be up for the UK and down for euroland.

Grok agrees !

What is clear
The WM is (well to me at least) unclear on this point and could be more clearly written so that what is clear to some becomes more clear to those that are unclear

Edit reason: first draft was written in the style of the WM and was even unclear to me as author

Out of interest i found this on you tube

?si=ES7cIpI_CoHLLFDe

Go to 5:30 minutes in
Clearly shows for L322, the lever down for flat beam (i.e. LHD countries like France) and up for raised beam (for RHD countries like UK)

Whilst the video shows headlight for 06-09 I don’t think there is any change for 10-12

Did i just say “clearly” ?
Haha
