I’ve never had a cracked or welded alloy on a Rangerover but did get a crack on a Jag wheel. Every 6 weeks or so I needed to add a bit of air when the sensor started shouting. It didn’t know it was cracked and assumed that it was just a slow puncture which I would get sorted “next week “ then it never got sorted as it never got any worse I just left it as it needed a new set of tyres shortly.

Just to put this to bed, I wasn't happy with it so got a new, old stock wheel off eBay for a very reasonable price...

Glad you got sorted with another wheel, at least you won't have any niggling feelings in the back of your mind!

Obviously not repaired properly if it still had a flat spot, good move 👍 |
