l322 2011 aftermarket rear lights triggering an OBD error

Hello,

I recently bought a 2011 L322 4.4 TDV8. After connecting an OBD tool, it showed fault codes for the rear lights, but they appear to be working fine. I suspect the lights might be aftermarket, which could be causing errors due to a mismatch in electrical load or resistance compared to the originals—possibly from different bulbs, wiring, or internal configurations.

From time to time, the car also displays various warnings such as ABS fault, EBD fault, and EBA not available. However, everything functions normally, and no faults appear in the ABS system when checked with the OBD tool.

I believe the aftermarket lights might be the cause, as I’ve read they can trigger such symptoms and warnings.

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, what’s the best way to fix or prevent these errors without replacing the lights? Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8 2011 Autobiography Black

All of those codes usually come up when the battery voltage is low. Mine did it the other day.
Just charge the battery and they will magically not return. What voltage do you have with the engine running?
Not sure about the rear lights though.

I had the battery checked by a mechanic at a battery shop, and he confirmed the voltage was fine (unfortunately I don’t recall the exact reading). Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8 2011 Autobiography Black
