I recently bought a set of spare wheels which I was told came from an L322 but I tried to fit them today and my wheel nuts wouldn’t go through the hole on the wheels.
Any suggestions of whether I could get a narrower set of wheel nuts and from where?

Sounds like you’ve got the earlier type of wheels from a pre 2006 L322. The wheel nuts are a smaller diameter.

Would the 2005 nuts still the the bolts on a 2011 model?

2005 onwards wheels need bigger nuts....pre 2005 wheels need the smaller nuts..

you can fit 2005 onwards wheels on the earlier L322 with the correct nuts. ... - .- -.

I’m really hopeful that I’ll be able to make use of the spare wheels that I bought.

If the wheels you have are genuine LR wheels then yes the earlier wheel nuts will fit your car. Sets are available from eBay or any LR outlet.

Owning the car has been a great learning journey so far, yesterday I replaced brake lines, callipers, discs and pads which was good fun!

Sorry in advance for more silly questions as I learn what I’m doing.

It’s doubtful that any earlier wheels will fit on a 2011 because they won’t fit over the larger disc brake calipers.

The wheels themselves fitted fine, it was the nuts that wouldn’t fit through the holes on the wheel.
