if you've disconnected the plug that goes into the dashcam and you still have the problem then its not the dashcam...

I'd seen a post somewhere else where somebody said that disconnecting it from the camera only may not work and it should really be done at the fuse as well. That didn't make a lot of sense right enough because if it's disconnected at one end then surely that would be enough! |

I had similar issue with cheap phone charger. Some not filtered dc/dc converter will kill dab / radio. |

When I bought my car, it had a non-genuine rear light fitted, and the DAB reception was terrible. I had read that non-genuine lights could have this effect, and I changed my light, and the DAB reception improved. |

The aerials are in the tailgate (does it have rear dash cam feeds?) and aerial cables will probably go over head to entertainment system. Any cables run close to aerial will cause interference.

This won't solve your issue, but when I listen to DAB, and i put the rear heated screen on, no DAB. |

That's interesting, I'm pretty sure I found a receipt for a rear light from a few years ago so I wonder if it was non-genuine and that's what's causing the problem? I actually managed to find 2, (but garbage) channels it would pick up today whilst running the car, so it doesn't appear it flat out won't work when the ignition is on, but functionality is greatly reduced. Totally fine when ignition off. I've bought a battery tester as well to check that, so thanks for the previous suggestion re battery condition. |
