Had a leak that took an age and a wallet-crippling amount of money to sort. Cleared the tubes, nothing. Checked for rust, still nothing. Sealed around the sunroof like I was building a submarine, and still the damn thing leaked. Turned out the sneaky little sod behind it all was the windscreen. One quick dab of professional sealant from the inside and, miracle of miracles, it was sorted. Typical.

That looks like one horrible job and way beyond what someone as cack handed as me could do!

I’ve been aware of the issue, but my 2016 car, which I had for 6 years didn’t show any of the tell tale warning signs (no internal leaks for example) and the current 21MY car is also not showing anything. Maybe they made a change in design, or maybe I’m just lucky. I’d be interested to know if the repair would be covered by the LRAU warranty though, just in case. 2024 - >. 2021MY L405 5.0 SC Portofino Blue

This in my opinion is one of the better "repair" videos. The strategy is quite innovative and less intrusive than some.
