I am also looking so would be interested in the answer... on my L405 the Nextbase i had drained the battery so i had to remove it when at home. Can you remove the Blackvue? Turning it off just puts it too sleep! But i now have the P550e hybrid so I assume as it has a huge battery that wont be a problem??? Or do they connect to a different battery?

In my experience of BlackVue dashcams on the L405, it drains the battery quickly. Yes you can set a voltage at which the dashcam turns off but this is soon after you have left in practice. You can buy a battery for a Blackview dashcam but it’s expensive.

I had the LR dash cam fitted to my L460 a month ago and am very happy with it.

Back in 2015, I had the BlackVue DR650GW installed in a L322 and was very happy with it. I think it cost £435 fitted.

Yes it was fitted a few months ago when the car was three years old.

I have had the LR one for three years now, no voltage drop issues and was very handy when some bone head ran into me then his insurance tried to say it was my fault!
