The only way to clear the limp mode red DPF is to do a Forced Regeneration .

Tried to do the regen many times. Iidgaptool says "regenerating" but sootlevel just continue rising. I also tried with "fit new particulate filter" and offcourse cleared DTC's I guess some readings are not right, since its not regenerating |

Big mistake trying the fit new DPF , sorry but your iid now thinks your DPF is new with zero soot , 0g, so it won’t initiate a forced regen until it thinks its full, or at least above 20+g.

I did a DPF clean my self, injecting cleaner in the pressure tube and followed the instructions incl. reset. I did wait until soot level was 20grams before starting the cleaning proces, and i dont know if it actually started the regenerating process, because you cant see the DPF temperatures in IIDtool when running the process. Would be nice though I ended up taking the DPF for a specialist. He cleaned out the ash and cars running again |
