Hi All, I have a MY2012 TDV8 4.4 and while disassembling the donut to be able to replace the oilcooler i pulled the little coolant hose that is connected with a small bracket to the donut. the plastic elbow connector was all brittle and the lower part where the rubber hose slides on just snapped off. Also the rubber ring where the connector is mounted with fell somewhere down below during the incident.



Question: is this a generic part and if so what is this oficially called? or should i just source the LR one by part number? if so... what is the partnumber for this plastic elbow connector?

I think it is part of LR022690. Just done my cooler and replaced all the hoses and connectors possible. Quite a few of the connectors broke on mine with very little force.

Cheers!!! I indeed see it is part of the top radiator hose kit. i think for now i will just find a universal quick release elbow connector in the correct size. i think i read somewhere 9.98mm is the correct one.

Just an update: received the connector and installed it. The new male connector slides and clicks perfectly in the original LR female part. So i ended up using both.

Mission accomplished! Or not.. huuuhhh:

The connector on the other side of the same rubber tube also broke off!!!! Oh 🫨 noooooo!!
I was hoping to put it all back together today but will have to source the other part first. It doesnt look as generic as the connector above, so i guess i have to get a genuine LR one.
Anybody who can help me further with part nr?

Found it! Is part of the water outlet hose. LR022690
