go drive it and post spme more info, ie front left, when turning, over speed bumps etc. describe the sound better too. No one can be 100% over a forum but with more info we can tell you what to check 2004 black Vogue TD6

If you have side steps it can be helpful to stand on them and bounce the car (not whilst driving I might add!!). You might be able to tell whether it is coming from the front or rear and possibly which side. Bit easier than when driving, where I find it tends to be harder to see where it's coming from.

Take it for a drive first to get everything hot; squeaks sometimes don't show up from cold.

Thanks for the advice it does it when turning slowly and slowing down to stop it stopped for a day then came back I can only describe it as a squeak/clunk noise if that makes any sense

get it too a garage and on a ramp, normal cheap garage will do as its an easy job. 2004 black Vogue TD6

yes but these are cheaper and easier to repair than the Touareg!! the final straw for me was thick end of £2k to sort out the rear brakes on mine.

brakes for the FFRR along with most either items are cheaper and easier to source, you know you love it really.. Laughing Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
