Nice one Justin. Great machine and the mf cutting pads are great. The d300 polish/compound is extortionate in my opinion but does yield results. Enjoy.

Justin,

I got a good deal on a kestrel DAS6 with megs polishes and pads last week from elite car care based on reding loads of detailersworld posts and the guides linked by other posters on this thread. Used them on the car at the weekend and I am very impressed. It is easier than I anticipated to get a good result - no doubt my efforts can be improved with time and experience.

I am fighting the urge to try and get even more of the minor scratches out now...

Was quite mesmerising driving along on Sunday seeing such clear reflections of the road ahead in my bonnet

Hi Guys,

A few photos as promised - Not the best quality as they were taken on my iPhone

The first two photos show the scratches in the bonnet when parked under a bright lamp...

I'm chuffed to bits with the result, the swirl marks have vanished entirely.

The only down side is the car now looks too good to drive.
