Had a problem this morning which resulted in a flat battery.

I have had a flat battery twice on my TDV8, never had an issue on the TD6.

thanks nbunney for the offer , hopefully it will start ok in morning-will give it a good run out. According to the LR man he says the battery tests ok but if its is us after 16 months then thats not good so i will have a go our men in Brock. By the way do you use Brock? i find sales team are good but I have had quite a few problems with service team over the the last 14 years, this is the 6th new Landrover I have bought from them. |

They said the battery was OK on mine, but still went flat again.

For the cost of a battery I'd change it if not for any other reason than to rule it out, if you look at breakdowns its normally down to a flat battery so if in doubt..... '09 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto for the Mrs

Luckily it has just failed the LR battery test so he is fitting a new one under warranty as I type.....

Hi Guys i have a 56 plate TDV8 and yesterday morning i ran my FBH twice and when im went out my battery was also flat , It wass fine today but i didnt run the heater !! |

get a new battery that seems to be the general advice unless you can tie down to something else, dont forget battery dont last for ever and some times do have hidden past.
