| They certainly do. The very best I've seen from my 3.6 TDV8 is 35 mpg, but it was on a 4am drive with the cruise control set at 60 mph all the way from Leicester to London. |

I'd check the Mass Airflow Meter. Sounds like it doesn't know how much fuel to put in or is getting an incorrect reading.

| I get a fraction under 34 MPH out of my 3.6 TDV8 on motorway. I just set the Cruise Control at 60 and relax. I don't take to much notice of town MPG however, everything is bad in town. |
