Well, the issue is probably the battery. Even though it’s only 2.5 years old, it isn’t holding charge very well. Not helped by the L322’s epic ability to leak amps.

I waited Two days and checked the battery this morning. 40% charged.
It started fine, I drove it three miles and went to Morrisons and Asda, then home again.

The starter motor turns over very fast, even on 60% charge, so I suspect that is not an issue.
